A non-profit organisation in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Manager, Fundraising & Partnerships to drive sustainable funding, build strategic partnerships, and expand social impact.

Key responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy & Execution

  • Lead fundraising strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Secure funding from foundations, corporations, government bodies, and major donors
  • Oversee major gifts, grants, and proposal development
  • Strengthen donor engagement, retention, and giving levels

Partnership Development

  • Build strategic partnerships across corporate, philanthropic, and public sectors
  • Negotiate sponsorships and collaborations aligned with organisational goals
  • Develop innovative funding and partnership models

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and develop the fundraising and partnerships team
  • Oversee fundraising pipeline, CRM, and reporting processes
  • Partner with programme teams to create compelling funding proposals
  • Track performance and provide insights to senior leadership and the board

External Representation

  • Represent the organisation with donors, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Expand funding opportunities through networking and relationship building
  • Support fundraising campaigns through impactful storytelling and communications

Candidate profile:

  • 8+ years' experience in fundraising, business development, or partnership management, ideally within the non-profit or NGO sector
  • Proven track record securing major donations, grants, and multi-year partnerships
  • Experience working with international donors, foundations, and corporate partners
  • Strong proposal writing, grant application, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Solid understanding of the philanthropic and funding landscape across Asia
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with strong project management skills and CRM (Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace proficiency
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and excellent written and spoken English; additional Chinese language skills (Mandarin/Cantonese) are advantageous
