A well-established bank is seeking a UX writer (AM grade) to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and refine digital content, including UX copy, microcopy, and instructional text in English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese to support seamless user journeys across digital products
  • Maintain consistency and clarity of language across platforms such as websites, mobile applications, and other digital interfaces
  • Contribute to and uphold content style guides, helping to define and apply a consistent tone of voice
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers and researchers to provide clear, concise copy for wireframes and usability testing
  • Participate in user testing sessions and refine content based on user feedback and data insights
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables through self-review and peer review processes
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in copywriting and/or copy editing, ideally with a focus on UX writing within the FinTech sector
  • Strong proficiency in written Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise digital content suited for UI elements
  • Solid understanding of UX principles and digital design best practices
  • Open to feedback and able to incorporate constructive criticism
  • Strong communication skills to clearly convey ideas and solutions to stakeholders
  • Effective relationship management skills to handle diverse stakeholders with competing priorities
  • Interest in AI and emerging technologies, with a willingness to incorporate them into workflows
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, or similar
  • Passion for UX/UI design, innovation, and related disciplines
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • A strong online portfolio showcasing relevant work
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality user-centric solutions
