Project Manager, Charities

Our client's foundation dedicated to making a positive impact in our community through charitable initiatives and thoughtful grant making. They are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Project Manager to oversee end-to-end project management for their charities management and grant making processes. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that their foundation's mission is realised through effective project execution, collaboration with stakeholders, and a commitment to transparency and accountability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end project management of charitable initiatives and grant making activities, from inception to evaluation.
• Collaborate with the foundation’s leadership to identify funding priorities and strategic goals.
• Manage the entire grant cycle, including application review, due diligence, fund disbursement, and impact assessment.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, time-lines, and budgets.
• Build and maintain relationships with grantees, community organisations, and other stakeholders throughout the project life-cycle.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of funded projects, ensuring alignment with foundation goals.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the foundation’s board and stakeholders, highlighting project outcomes and lessons learned.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to grant making and project management.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for grantees to enhance their capacity and project execution.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in end-to-end project management, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
• Strong knowledge of grant making processes and best practices.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Passion for philanthropy and a commitment to social impact.
