Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel (Conveyancing lawyer)

A real estate developer is seeking a Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on real estate matters for the Group
• Manage all documentation and processes related to the presale and sale of new developments, as well as tenancy matters
• Advise on building management issues, collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve legal challenges effectively
• Support legal initiatives across all business areas of the Group, aiding in strategic decision-making and enhancing operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong with a minimum of 8 years of substantial experience in real estate law (in-house experience is an advantage)
• Experience in handling both first-hand and second-hand property matters
• Familiar with the Conveyancing and Property Ordinance, the Residential Properties (First-hand Sales) Ordinance and the Building Management Ordinance
• Prior experience in real estate-related litigation is a plus
• Strong communication in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Self-motivated team-player with the ability to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision
