Legal and Compliance Consultant - 6 month contract

A global investment bank are looking for a legal and compliance consultant to help deliver on internal regulatory and compliance matters.

Successful candidates will have good knowledge of financial crime, anti-bribery and anti-fraud methodologies.

Candidates will also be familiar with implementing internal control and assurance frameworks related to financial crime compliance along with a solid understand of external regulators.

Candidates with a legal background are highly preferred as the role will work closely with the in-house legal team on cross-border regulatory trade issues, sanctions and export controls.

Key requirements:

- High level of understanding of legal and compliance matters from corporate and invesment banking

- Well-versed in regulatory matters pertaining to financial crime, money laundering, anti-bribery, fraud and sanctions

- Cross-border legal and compliance experience highly desired

- Qualified lawyers, legal counsel and general counsel candidates are preferred

- An understanding of financial markets and cross-border transcations preferred

- English and Mandarin Chinese language proficiency
