Regional Head of Compliance Operations - Insurance

Our client, an international insurance group is seeking an a Regional Head of Compliance Operations to support their Regional Chief Compliance Officer across its Asia markets. This high-impact role is responsible for overseeing governance frameworks, regulatory advisory, and driving compliance initiatives regionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the regional liaison for local compliance teams across Asia.
• Lead governance, compliance planning, regulatory monitoring, and internal controls execution.
• Advise on strategic projects including M&A, new product launches, and partnership deals.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting, group policy implementation, and training programs.
• Mentor local CCOs and support team development across markets.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of compliance or control function experience in financial services, including 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong regional experience, particularly across Asia, and prior exposure to M&A or group-level projects.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, with ability to operate at senior management level.
• Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
