What you'll do:

As a Recruiter based in Hong Kong, you will be instrumental in executing comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that drive the organisation’s success across Asia Pacific. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve partnering closely with internal stakeholders to understand their unique hiring needs while managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on all hiring matters, offering guidance and support throughout the recruitment process to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from initial intake through offer management, ensuring each stage is handled with care and professionalism.
  • Utilise a variety of sourcing tools such as job boards, social media platforms, and advertising channels to attract high-quality candidates for both back office and front office positions.
  • Develop and maintain talent pools and pipelines for upcoming roles by proactively identifying potential candidates who align with organisational values.
  • Engage with candidates at every stage of the process to promote a positive experience, keeping them informed and engaged from application through onboarding.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships internally by working closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to fully understand their requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on requisition status to all hiring personnel through accurate reporting and clear communication.
  • Work alongside the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team to implement recruitment strategies that further organisational diversity goals.
  • Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure data integrity within all recruitment reporting systems.
  • Stay current with relevant legislation affecting recruitment practices while serving as a consultant to hiring personnel on compliance matters.

What you bring:

  • At least two years’ experience recruiting within asset management or financial services sectors, demonstrating familiarity with industry-specific requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle within an in-house HR function, ensuring seamless coordination from initial brief through offer acceptance.
  • Hands-on experience working with applicant tracking systems such as Workday or similar platforms for efficient candidate management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of implementing innovative direct sourcing strategies that attract diverse pools of talent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to quickly build rapport with leadership teams and internal clients across different regions.
  • Strong organisational abilities combined with effective time management skills that allow you to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for engaging candidates professionally at every touchpoint.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding candidate experiences through considerate recruitment practices that reflect organisational values.
  • Experience operating within a global corporate environment is highly desirable for understanding cross-cultural nuances in talent acquisition.
  • Meticulous attention to detail coupled with results-oriented mindset ensures accuracy in reporting and compliance throughout all stages of recruitment.
