What you'll do:
As Senior HRBP, you will play an integral role in shaping the organisation’s people strategy.
- Provide expert advice, guidance, and assistance to managers and employees on all aspects of people management and development, ensuring compassionate support throughout.
- Identify priorities based on market action plans by translating business needs into effective practices that nurture employee growth and satisfaction.
- Deliver key initiatives across workforce planning, budgeting, restructuring, recruitment, talent management, reward & recognition, employee relations, engagement, performance management, and more.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements by maintaining accurate records using management information systems.
- Stay updated on legal frameworks governing HR operations by partnering with internal and external legal experts to ensure responsible practices.
- Collaborate with compensation & benefits teams on salary benchmarking exercises; analyse data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive the annual Performance Management Process to foster a strong feedback culture within the organisation.
- Work alongside Operations on payroll matters as well as contractual policies to ensure smooth processes for all employees.
- Act as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition by advising departments on candidate shortlisting; partner with recruitment teams for interviewing, salary proposals, offer negotiations, onboarding processes.
- Lead employee wellbeing & engagement initiatives by delivering planned calendars; assist in pulse surveys; strengthen communication channels between managers and employees.
What you bring:
The ideal Senior HRBP brings proven experience from large multinational luxury retail environments where collaboration is valued.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in regional or local business partnering within large multinational luxury retail companies is essential for this role.
- Exceptional planning and project management skills are required to successfully deliver complex initiatives across multiple teams.
- Strong business acumen combined with the ability to work dependably both independently and collaboratively within a matrix environment is vital.
- Excellent organisational skills paired with meticulous attention to detail enable you to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for building trustful relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Rich experience in stakeholder management along with strong influencing abilities ensures successful implementation of people-focused solutions.
- Advanced analytical skills coupled with proficiency in computer literacy allow you to interpret data accurately for decision-making purposes.
- Comprehensive understanding of labour regulations supports responsible HR operations across Hong Kong and Macau markets.
- Fluency in both spoken & written English and Chinese is mandatory for effective communication within diverse teams.
- A mature approach combined with a hands-on attitude enables you to handle multi-tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
