A leading organisation in Hong Kong is seeking a Human Resources Generalist with strong payroll expertise to join on a 12-month contract with a completion bonus.

This role focuses on end-to-end payroll processing and HR administration within a supportive and inclusive environment. It offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to accurate, compliant, and efficient HR operations while developing your career in a collaborative workplace.

Key responsibilities:

As a Human Resources Generalist (Payroll-focused), you will be responsible for delivering accurate end-to-end payroll processing and supporting core HR administration functions in compliance with local regulations.

Payroll & Compensation

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant salary processing
  • Administer MPF, tax, final payments, payroll reconciliations, and employee benefits in line with statutory requirements
  • Partner with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless payroll operations and resolve payroll-related queries
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and HR data, ensuring data integrity and compliance

HR Operations & Generalist

  • Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and offboarding, to deliver a positive employee experience
  • Maintain HR records, personnel files, and employee databases while ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy
  • Support performance management, HR reporting, and day-to-day HR operations to drive operational excellence

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate brings solid HR experience with strong payroll processing knowledge, combined with accuracy, confidentiality, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Diploma or above in Human Resources Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an HR generalist role, with solid payroll exposure
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and payroll practices
  • Hands‑on, detail‑minded and well‑organised
  • Able to work independently in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and HR/payroll systems
