HR Generalist (Payroll, 12-month+Bonus)
A leading organisation in Hong Kong is seeking a Human Resources Generalist with strong payroll expertise to join on a 12-month contract with a completion bonus.

Key responsibilities:
As a Human Resources Generalist (Payroll-focused), you will be responsible for delivering accurate end-to-end payroll processing and supporting core HR administration functions in compliance with local regulations.
Payroll & Compensation
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant salary processing
- Administer MPF, tax, final payments, payroll reconciliations, and employee benefits in line with statutory requirements
- Partner with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless payroll operations and resolve payroll-related queries
- Maintain accurate payroll records and HR data, ensuring data integrity and compliance
HR Operations & Generalist
- Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and offboarding, to deliver a positive employee experience
- Maintain HR records, personnel files, and employee databases while ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy
- Support performance management, HR reporting, and day-to-day HR operations to drive operational excellence
Candidate profile:
The ideal candidate brings solid HR experience with strong payroll processing knowledge, combined with accuracy, confidentiality, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Diploma or above in Human Resources Management or related disciplines
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an HR generalist role, with solid payroll exposure
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and payroll practices
- Hands‑on, detail‑minded and well‑organised
- Able to work independently in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and HR/payroll systems
