You will be at the forefront of compensation review cycles, benefits administration, and global payroll processes, while also supporting the implementation and optimisation of HR systems. - Support participation in compensation and benefits market surveys by preparing data submissions, analysing survey results, and presenting actionable recommendations for adjustments to compensation structures.
- Analyse internal compensation data to maintain equity among employees while benchmarking against external market trends to ensure competitive offerings.
- Administer employee benefits programmes such as insurance and retirement plans by acting as the primary point of contact for employee queries and managing relationships with external vendors.
- Oversee monthly payroll processing for locations outside Hong Kong by reviewing data for accuracy and ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) by maintaining data integrity through regular audits, system updates, user acceptance testing, and identifying areas for process enhancement.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc HR reports—including headcount statistics, turnover rates, compensation analysis—to inform strategic HR decisions across the business.
- Consolidate data requirements for annual ESG reports while supporting all types of global data reporting needs such as those related to annual audits or investor relations.
- Act as the key administrative user for the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) platform by managing reporting functions and maintaining up-to-date records.
What you bring:
To excel as a Compensation and Benefits Manager in this role, you will bring a strong foundation in total rewards management coupled with advanced technical skills in HR systems and analytics.
- Demonstrated knowledge of compensation principles including salary benchmarking methodologies, benefits administration practices, and relevant local employment regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with proven ability to interpret complex HR data sets related to compensation structures or workforce metrics while providing clear recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Excel—and familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau for effective reporting.
- Hands-on experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) or similar HR software platforms with a focus on maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Excellent organisational abilities enabling you to manage multiple concurrent tasks efficiently while meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese which enable effective collaboration across diverse teams within the organisation.
- Adaptability combined with a willingness to learn new aspects of HR operations or take on additional responsibilities as required by evolving business needs.
- Experience administering payroll processes outside Hong Kong is highly desirable along with prior involvement in ESG or sustainability-related reporting activities.
