My client plays a pivotal role in the region's logistics and trade industry, offering extensive services for maritime transport and container handling. The company is known for its efficiency, scale, and strategic location supporting global supply chains.

In this role, you will work with a high performing team and responsible for overseeing all Compensation and Benefits operations, including payroll for a workforce of 1200+, pensions, taxes, benefits, and leave management, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

About the Role:

  • Manage and hands on handling all Compensation and Benefits operations, including payroll of 1200+ headcounts, pensions, taxation, benefits administration, and leave management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise subordinates in the payroll operation and improve efficiency of payroll operation
    Review and enhance current payroll, benefits and tax procedures leading to best practice operations
  • Periodically review and enhance C&B policies, guidelines, and processes to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Provide HR analytic and reports on key metrics.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of 7+ years of experience, preferably gained in a sizeable platform, with a focus on managing front-line populations. Experience in labour-intensive industries is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate proven expertise in managing Compensation and Benefits (C&B) operations across the full spectrum, showcasing a strong numerical acumen, hands-on approach, flexibility, a fast-paced work style, and a keen eye for detail. Prior experience in leading a small team is desirable.
  • More experienced candidates will be considered for the role of C&B Manager.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English.
