The Investment Counselor will play a critical role in providing tailored investment advice and solutions to high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and families. IC will work closely with Relationship Managers to deliver comprehensive wealth management strategies, ensuring alignment with clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized investment advice across asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternative investments, structured products, and mutual funds.
  • Develop customized portfolio strategies based on clients’ financial objectives, risk appetite, and market conditions.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to ensure alignment with client goals and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Partner with RMs to understand clients’ broader financial needs and provide holistic solutions.
  • Stay updated on global financial markets, economic trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Provide insights into new investment opportunities and product innovations.
  • Monitor portfolios for adherence to agreed-upon risk parameters and proactively address any deviations.
  • Assist in identifying potential clients through referrals or networking opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, CAIA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or investment advisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of global financial markets and investment products.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in financial tools/software and CRM platforms.
