Manager / AVP, Corporate Actions & Operations

A banking group in Hong Kong seeks a Corporate Actions and Operations AVP / Manager to drive end-to-end corporate action processing and operational transformation, ensuring accurate execution of complex equity and fixed income transactions across global markets.

Key responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end corporate actions processing across equities and fixed income across HK and global markets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Ensure correct execution of entitlements, elections, payments, and client communications in line with controls and regulations
• Drive operational excellence through workflow monitoring, risk control, and continuous compliance with governance standards
• Support system enhancements, migrations, and transformation initiatives, including process improvement and scalability projects
• Partner with custody, settlement, and client services teams while contributing to ad hoc projects and operational planning

Candidate profile:

• 5–10 years’ experience in securities operations with strong corporate actions exposure; degree in Finance, Banking, Economics or related field
• Solid understanding of post-trade lifecycle including clearing, settlement, custody, and end-to-end operational flows
• Experience in banking environment with strong awareness of regulatory requirements and operational risk controls
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and stakeholder coordination skills with ability to work under tight deadlines
• Exposure to system migration, process improvement or project work is advantageous; fluent in English with Cantonese and Mandarin preferred
