Associate - Capital Markets Operations (Immediate start)

A well-established sell-side financial institution with a strong footprint across equities, derivatives and financing businesses in Asia.

The firm supports a broad base of institutional clients and continues to invest in strengthening its post-trade and operations platform to support business growth and new product initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

As an Associate in Capital Markets Operations, you will support end-to-end post-trade processing across multiple asset classes while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

• Support daily post-trade and clearing activities across equities, derivatives and OTC products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor transaction flows and investigate exceptions or breaks, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to maintain smooth operational processes
• Assist in the rollout of new products, system enhancements and process improvement initiatives
• Participate in project-related work, including requirements gathering and user testing
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and contribute to service improvements

Candidate profile:

You are an operations professional with strong experience in financial markets and a solid understanding of post-trade environments, ideally across multiple asset classes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of experience in operations, middle office or post-trade functions within financial services
• Exposure to equities, derivatives, OTC products or cash / collateral operations is preferred
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and manage time-sensitive tasks
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to automation or process improvement tools is a plus
