Loans Operations (12-month contract)

A financial institution seeks a Loans Operations Specialist for a 12-month contract in Hong Kong, offering collaborative work, diverse loan operations exposure, and strong professional growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

As a Loans Operations Professional, you will manage loan processing, ensure compliance, and support reporting and process improvements.

• Execute loan transactions in strict adherence to policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and risk mitigation
• Manage end-to-end daily loan operations, including drawdowns, rollovers, fee processing, SWIFT payments, and loan confirmations
• Prepare and validate regulatory returns, Head Office reports, and internal/MIS reporting with high attention to detail
• Support operational efficiency through accurate data entry, documentation, correspondence, and general administrative tasks
• Participate in projects and deliver ad hoc assignments, contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring corporate loan operations experience, bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese, and strong MS Office, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

• HKDSE with 5+ years’ corporate loan operations experience; degree holders with less experience will also be considered
• Solid knowledge of corporate loan processing, controls, and risk management
• Fluency in English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
