VP/Associate, Global Markets Middle Office, FICC

Mutliple headcounts of FICC middle office at associate to VP level, actively in search of Japanese speakers as well as mandarin speakers.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, control, and oversight on the end to end trading lifecycle, including trade booking, monitoring, validation, workflow control, breaks investigations, settlements, etc, for the FICC/ treasury trading business
• Serve as a point of contact to liaise with internal and external parties to facilitate trading operations and ensure transactions are processed efficiently as well as in a timely manner
• Support KYC process when needed
• Participate in business initiatives regarding operating process streamlining, new product approval, technology, and system development, etc
• Review Service level agreements and monitor outsourced duties
• Ensure controls and procedures are well documented to reduce operational risk

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above
• At least 6-8 years of experience in middle office or global market operations functions; Candidates with less experience would be considered as associate
• Strong product knowledge on FICC - including fixed income, credit derivatives, FX, interest rate derivatives, OTC derivatives FX/MM, treasury related products
• Risk and control focused mindset
• Good understanding on the end-to-end trading lifecycle
• Strong communicator in English. Proficiency in Mandarin and Japanese would be an advantage
• Excellent PC skills with good understanding of MS Office (Word & Excel). Macros/VBA skills are a plus
