Manager, Bancassurance & Strategic Partnerships (Insurance)

An insurance company seeks a Manager (Bancassurance & Strategic Partnerships) to drive bank partnerships, growth, and product initiatives in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities:

As Manager for Bancassurance & Strategic Partnerships, you will drive growth via bank partnerships, lead product lifecycle, and align cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, market-driven solutions.

• Serve as key contact point to partner banks, driving insurance growth via marketing, sales, and distribution strategies
• Identify and execute new bancassurance opportunities with senior management
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle for bank channels from concept to post-launch review
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Ops, IT, Compliance, Finance, Marketing) for seamless execution and support
• Deliver proposals, performance reporting, and market insights while tracking KPIs and enhancing competitiveness

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring bancassurance/life insurance experience, product lifecycle and partner management expertise, strong analytical and communication skills, and multilingual proficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years’ experience in bancassurance, life insurance, or bank-led insurance distribution; candidates with extensive experience and proven leadership capabilities may be considered for Senior Manager
• In-depth knowledge of life insurance products, bancassurance models, and regulatory frameworks
• Detail-oriented with strong ownership, accountability, and execution mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
• Occasional, minimal business travel required
