Trade Support Analyst - Global Hedge Fund

A global hedge fund firm in Hong Kong seeks a Trade Support Analyst to support multi-asset trading operations, process improvement, asset servicing, and risk-controlled trade execution.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct trade support to trading, capital markets, quantitative, and investment teams across multiple asset classes
• Manage pre- and post-trade operational controls to ensure accurate and efficient trade processing
• Oversee stock loan, locate, and portfolio financing activities, including borrow sourcing and liquidity optimisation
• Maintain and enhance the firm's operational risk management platform and controls framework
• Design, improve, and automate operational processes to increase efficiency and scalability
• Monitor and process corporate actions, including mandatory and voluntary events, while researching and summarising key event details
• Coordinate elections, liabilities, proxy voting, and asset servicing activities across equities, CFDs, options, CDS, and bonds

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with a strong academic or professional track record
• 3–7 years’ cross-asset operations experience across Equities, Credit, FX, Rates, and Options
• Solid background in Corporate Actions and Asset Servicing is essential
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess complex operational scenarios
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong stakeholder management ability
• Technical proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, VBA, or Power BI, with strong data analysis capability
• Highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail, time management, learning agility, and a keen interest in generative AI and emerging technologies
