A global financial institution seeks a Trade Operations Professional to manage Cash Equity and Equity Swaps operations within a collaborative, high-performing environment supporting multi-billion-dollar assets.

Key responsibilities:

As a Trade Operations Professional, you will oversee trade support, settlements, reconciliations, stock loans, and corporate actions while improving operational efficiency across Cash Equity and Equity Swaps.

• Manage trade support functions including settlement, trade booking, reconciliation, confirmation, and counterparty communication for Cash Equity and Equity Swaps
• Ensure accurate and timely transaction processing, maintaining high standards across daily operational reporting
• Oversee stock loan processing and reconciliation activities to support smooth trading operations
• Handle end-to-end corporate actions processing from announcement through to payment completion
• Identify, investigate, and escalate workflow inefficiencies and operational control gaps proactively
• Drive process automation, optimisation, and workflow enhancements to improve operational efficiency
• Support business initiatives, projects, and ad hoc operational tasks as required

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring trade operations experience, strong analytical skills, Python proficiency, and a detail-oriented, collaborative approach.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years' experience in trade support, trade operations, or fund operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do mindset
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Python is an advantage
• Able to work independently in fast-paced environments with strong responsibility and effective Chinese and English communication (spoken) skills
