Senior Finance Manager - Hedge Fund

A hedge fund organisation in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Finance Manager to drive financial impact within a collaborative team, with flexible work, strong training support, and growth-focused culture.

Key responsibilities:

As Senior Finance Manager, you will oversee financial operations, reporting, audits, and regulatory and tax processes while ensuring accurate delivery with key stakeholders.

• Maintain the group’s accounting system, ensuring accurate books and records for all transactions and assets
• Support daily operations including payment processing and bank account maintenance
• Assist in management reporting and month-end closing activities
• Implement and uphold effective financial controls across the organisation
• Perform regulatory reporting (e.g., Financial Resources Return) and support statutory audits and financial statement preparation
• Liaise with fund administrators and tax representatives, including review of valuations and preparation of tax returns
• Prepare fund performance analysis and handle ad hoc financial projects as required

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong years’ hedge fund or asset management experience, strong English skills, audit and reporting expertise, and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach.

• 10–16 years’ experience in hedge funds
• Basic understanding of investment funds or asset management
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage own workload with strong attention to detail
• Diligent, flexible, collaborative, and innovative problem-solver
