Business Manager, Technology & Operations – IT Finance

The Business Manager for Technology & Operations (T&O) – IT Finance will play a key role in driving financial governance, strategic planning, and operational excellence within the IT Finance function. This individual will work closely with IT leadership, finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the efficient management of IT budgets, cost optimization, and alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Governance

• Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for IT operations, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.
• Monitor IT expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend strategic investments to optimize IT spending.
• Provide financial analysis, variance reporting, and actionable insights to drive decision-making for IT projects and operations.
• Partner with procurement teams to manage vendor agreements and ensure cost-effective technology sourcing.

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Collaborate with IT leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support technology innovation and business growth.
• Drive the financial evaluation of IT initiatives, including ROI analysis, cost/benefit assessments, and business case preparation.
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the financial performance of IT operations and projects.
• Support strategic initiatives such as cloud migration, digital transformation, and technology modernization with financial insights and planning.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in IT finance, business management, or a similar role, preferably within the financial service industry
• Proven experience managing large IT budgets and financial planning processes.
• Strong financial acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
