A well-known developer in Hong Kong seeks Deputy General Manager (Facility Management) to oversee multi-site operations across Hong Kong and Mainland China, driving operational excellence and sustainability across premium commercial assets.

Key responsibilities:

As Deputy General Manager, you will lead operations, technical management, budgeting, and strategy across regions to ensure service excellence, sustainability, and consistent portfolio standards.

  • Oversee overall performance of Facility Management teams in Mainland China and Hong Kong, providing direction and operational support
  • Lead CAPEX projects with technical oversight, ensuring effective execution and value delivery
  • Manage budgets and long-term asset planning, including maintenance, repairs, and capital expenditure control
  • Drive SOP updates, energy conservation initiatives, and corporate sustainability implementation
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert and support team capability development and departmental planning

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong facility management experience in premium assets, covering renovations and maintenance, with regulatory knowledge, PRC exposure, professional accreditation, and multi-site leadership capability.

  • Degree in Construction, Engineering, Facilities Management or related discipline, with relevant professional accreditation (e.g. HKIE, CIBSE, MIMechE) preferred
  • At least 15 years’ experience in renovation, A&A, fit-out works, building maintenance, and MVAC systems in high-end commercial properties
  • Strong knowledge of relevant ordinances, codes of practice, and best industry standards, with PRC property management experience as an advantage
  • Proven leadership, communication, people management, customer focus, and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Putonghua), proficient in MS applications and AutoCAD, with willingness to travel frequently to Mainland China
