A global real estate services provider seeks a Critical Facility Manager, Data Centre to oversee 24/7 mission-critical operations in Hong Kong, ensuring maximum uptime, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities:

As a Critical Facility Manager, you will ensure smooth 24/7 operations, maximum uptime, and effective team and stakeholder management.

  • Lead 24/7 data centre operations, ensuring contractual commitments, SLA/KPI compliance, operational excellence, and maximum uptime
  • Manage site OPEX/CAPEX budgets, contract variations, asset lifecycle, maintenance programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, statutory, contractual, reporting, escalation, and change management requirements
  • Oversee critical maintenance, switching, isolation, emergency response, and risk mitigation activities, including 24/7 on-call support
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring customer-focused service delivery and effective communication
  • Lead, mentor, train, and develop high-performing teams, ensuring succession planning, shift coverage, and emergency readiness
  • Manage subcontractors, operating procedures, and site controls to ensure all works meet agreed standards, scope, and regulatory requirements

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong experience in managing mission-critical facilities, technical operations, compliance, budgets, risk management, and high-performing teams within complex environments.

  • Degree or diploma in Facility Management preferred, with essential Electrical Trade or Electrical Engineering qualifications and OH&S certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing critical environments or data centres in a senior leadership capacity
  • Strong technical knowledge across critical environments, M&E, facilities management, building services, and project operations
  • Proven leadership experience managing people, service delivery, business growth, and stakeholder relationships within matrix organisations
  • Strong commercial, financial, and business acumen, with the ability to interpret financial metrics and drive results
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, networking, and relationship management skills across all organisational levels
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with strong decision-making, problem-solving, integrity, and continuous improvement focus
