Internal Control Manager (MNC manufacturing | UP to 85K)

Salary: Competitive and based on experience

Location: Hong Kong

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Control Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to maintain and enforce the company's framework of financial controls, including compliance management and exception handling. The successful candidate will provide objective assurance on the effectiveness of the company's risk management system and its internal control environment. This position plays a crucial role in developing strategic plans for adopting upcoming Internal Control reporting requirements and supporting the implementation of required control standards.

What you'll do:

• Work closely with Head of Finance
• Provide objective assurance on the effectiveness of the company's risk management system and its internal control environment
• Support divisions in accomplishing objectives and requirements on internal controls by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve risk management, control, and governance processes
• Maintain close liaison with Group Internal Audit on key findings from internal audits
• Update and maintain the control framework for respective divisions/regions with any system and process modifications and changes
• Produce Audit & Risk Committee and Executive Committee papers as required

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field
• Over 8 years of experience in related field
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finance concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and perform tasks within tight deadlines
• Strong planning skills, analytical skills, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Short notice candidates is preferred
