Treasury Accountant (1-year Contract - Renewable)

Treasury Accountant (1-year Contract - Renewable 70% Treasury / 30% Full-set) An enterprise software company in Hong Kong seeks a Treasury Accountant to support treasury operations and full-set accounting, ensuring accurate cash management, compliance, and efficient financial reporting in a standalone role.

Key responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end treasury operations, including bank account opening/closing, KYC/AML compliance, authorised signatory updates, and ongoing account maintenance to ensure secure, compliant banking governance
• Ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance by maintaining statutory records, strengthening controls, and supporting audit readiness across treasury and finance activities
• Manage daily financial operations including payment processing, bank reconciliations, and accurate maintenance of cash and accounting records
• Develop and maintain strong banking relationships to support efficient cash management, issue resolution, and operational continuity
• Take ownership of treasury reporting, tax computation and filing, full-set accounting, and audit support, while independently driving deliverables and contributing to ad hoc finance projects

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or related discipline with at least 2 years’ experience in treasury or corporate/commercial banking, including hands-on bank account setup processes
• Solid understanding and practical application of KYC/AML requirements, internal controls, banking operations, and regulatory/legal compliance frameworks
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting systems such as QuickBooks, with exposure to standard finance and treasury tools
• Experience operating in regulated finance or banking environments, working with statutory requirements and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with high integrity and independent working style; bilingual in English and Chinese required, Mandarin preferred, with immediate availability an advantage
