Senior Accountant | APAC | Australian Tax | 45k

A leading organisation in Hong Kong is seeking a Regional Accountant to join its finance team, supporting accounting operations across APAC and Australia.

Key responsibilities:

You will support regional accounting operations across APAC and Australia, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and collaborative stakeholder engagement within a supportive finance environment.

• Handle full set accounting and management accounting duties
• Prepare and review Australian tax filings and related compliance work
• Support APAC accounting operations and regional reporting requirements
• Liaise with Australian counterparts and other regional stakeholders
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Work closely with the manager and support broader regional finance coverage, including India as required

Candidate profile:

You are a collaborative and analytical accounting professional with strong APAC exposure, Australian tax experience, and the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent interpersonal relationships across regional teams.

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Solid experience in full set accounting and management accounting
• Strong Australian tax filing experience is required
• APAC exposure is a must
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and communication skills
• Immediate availability is preferred
