Assistant Finance Manager | External Audit + Commerical

The Role

Due to rapid business growth, the company is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to support and strengthen its finance function. This is a hands‑on, all‑rounded role covering both financial accounting and management reporting, with exposure to commercial and strategic matters.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and business stakeholders, providing financial insights to support decision‑making during the expansion phase.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle full‑spectrum finance and accounting duties, including month‑end closing and financial control
• Prepare management reports, financial analysis and business performance reports
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and other professional parties
• Support statutory reporting, audit and compliance requirements
• Partner with business units to provide commercial and operational finance support
• Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
• Support ad‑hoc projects related to business expansion and new initiatives
• Occasional travel may be required as the business expands

Candidate profile:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience; with CPA or equivalent qualifications
• Background from Big 4 / external audit is required
• Candidates with both audit and commercial experience are highly preferred
• Straight audit background will also be considered
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and hands‑on capability
• Energetic, dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset
• Proactive, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to travel and support business expansion
