The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing and supervising financial activities. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure accurate financial records
  • Conduct variance analysis and explain financial performance
  • Coordinate with external auditors for audit processes
  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management review
  • Review and approve account reconciliations, including inventory and fixed assets
  • Support cost accounting activities, including product costing and margin analysis
  • Assist with tax compliance, including preparation and filing of tax returns
  • Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, and manufacturing methods for cost impact
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff as needed
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
