Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the enhancement and optimization of the accounts payable system, ensuring it aligns with best practices and supports organizational goals.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement system upgrades, including testing, training, and troubleshooting.
• Manage ongoing projects related to accounts payable, such as automation initiatives and process reengineering.
• Analyze current accounts payable processes and identify areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions to increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, IFRS, and relevant regulations in all accounts payable activities.
• Supervise the processing of invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Prepare reports and metrics related to accounts payable performance and system usage for management review.
• Act as a liaison between accounts payable and other departments to facilitate smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
• Proven experience with accounts payable systems and process enhancements; experience with automation tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred).
