A leading financial institution seeks a Financial Planning Manager in Hong Kong to drive strategic financial planning, deliver business insights, and support informed decision-making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive business forecasting, financial planning, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making and the bank's long-term growth objectives
• Deliver management reporting, financial analysis, and profitability insights that enable informed business decisions and performance optimisation
• Lead cost management and financial performance initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and support business growth
• Strengthen financial governance by supporting stress testing, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining accurate financial reporting and booking processes
• Lead and deliver sales management information (MI) and finance transformation projects, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to implement strategic business initiatives

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline, with 5+ years' banking experience, preferably in commercial banking and banking operations
• Strong exposure to commercial banking products, banking operations, and working within a fast-paced financial services environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel, with strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver results under pressure
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive, customer-focused mindset and fluency in English and Chinese
