Senior RM / Team Lead – Corporate Banking Department

A financial institution in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Relationship Manager / Team Lead to manage corporate client portfolios, drive growth, and lead a team in delivering cross-border banking solutions.

Key responsibilities:

As a Senior Relationship Manager / Team Lead, you will manage corporate portfolios, drive growth, lead a team, and ensure compliance and credit quality.

• Develop and manage corporate client portfolios by setting strategic direction and individual account plans, while identifying new prospects and cross-selling opportunities aligned with the Bank’s goals
• Own team targets, including net loan growth, NII, and fee income from loan and agency services
• Lead and support RMs/ARMs through planning, target setting, portfolio management, and performance monitoring to achieve business objectives
• Ensure compliance with policies, monitor credit quality, and provide market insights on portfolio risks
• Collaborate across departments to drive new business opportunities and support sales initiatives

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring corporate banking experience in Hong Kong/GBA, team leadership, lending expertise, and a track record of driving growth while ensuring compliance and credit quality.

• Minimum 8 years’ corporate banking experience, including 5+ years in a managerial or team leadership role, with a proven track record in originating and executing syndicated and bilateral loans for mid- to large-sized corporates
• Strong understanding of the Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area corporate lending market, including cross-border financing structures
• Fluent in English and Cantonese, with strong Mandarin proficiency essential for engaging China-related corporate clients
