The Chief Executive will oversee the entire charitable operations and strategies of the organization, ensuring alignment with the mission and goals. This is a general management role that requires strong and visionary leadership.

About the Job

  • Directly report to board members
  • Provide visionary leadership to guide the organisation's mission, driving valuable change within the community.
  • Develop and articulate a compelling strategic vision that aligns with the organisation's goals and aspirations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability across all levels of the organisation.
  • Engage proactively with the Board of Directors, offering insights into organisational performance and future opportunities.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community leaders, and governmental entities.
  • Oversee financial stewardship, including budgeting, resource allocation, and ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organisational policies, promoting transparency and ethical governance.
  • Represent the organisation in public forums, enhancing its visibility and impact within the community.
  • Lead dynamic fundraising initiatives and develop comprehensive strategies to secure and diversify revenue streams.

About the person

  • University degree holder in a relevant field
  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within the charitable or non-profit sector.
  • Demonstrated capacity for high-level strategic leadership and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to inspire and mobilise diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong track record in relationship-building and collaborative partnerships.
  • Experience in innovative fundraising and revenue development strategies.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to decision-making in complex environments.
  • Deep commitment to the organisation's mission and a passion for creating social impact.
  • Fluency of English and Cantonese
