The role is responsible for overseeing the financial management, strategy, and operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Leadership
    • Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s long-term growth and shareholder value.
    • Collaborate with executive management to set financial goals, budgets, and forecasts aligned with corporate objectives.
    • Provide strategic financial guidance on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and investment opportunities.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
    • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to drive informed business decisions.
    • Analyze financial performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
    • Present timely and accurate financial reports to the CEO, Board of Directors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance
    • Ensure accurate, transparent, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP).
    • Manage all aspects of regulatory compliance including SEC filings, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, and other relevant public company regulations.
    • Coordinate external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors, investors, and financial institutions.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting teams to build a high-performing, ethical, and collaborative culture.
    • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to support scalability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Extensive senior financial management experience, preferably in a publicly listed company or similar regulated environment.
  • Deep knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and compliance requirements for public companies.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing finance teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity with a commitment to transparency and governance.
