CFO | Listed Company | Up to 2.5 Mil
The role is responsible for overseeing the financial management, strategy, and operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s long-term growth and shareholder value.
- Collaborate with executive management to set financial goals, budgets, and forecasts aligned with corporate objectives.
- Provide strategic financial guidance on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and investment opportunities.
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to drive informed business decisions.
- Analyze financial performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Present timely and accurate financial reports to the CEO, Board of Directors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure accurate, transparent, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP).
- Manage all aspects of regulatory compliance including SEC filings, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, and other relevant public company regulations.
- Coordinate external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors, investors, and financial institutions.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting teams to build a high-performing, ethical, and collaborative culture.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to support scalability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Extensive senior financial management experience, preferably in a publicly listed company or similar regulated environment.
- Deep knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and compliance requirements for public companies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing finance teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High ethical standards and integrity with a commitment to transparency and governance.
