Persons impersonating Robert Walters Staff
Robert Walters would like to alert you to an impersonation scam involving individuals posing as Robert Walters employees. We have received inquiries regarding WhatsApp and Telegram texts with potential job opportunities which were sent by individuals falsely claiming to represent Robert Walters.
Some individuals presented false Robert Walters business cards and used the Robert Walters logo as their profile image on LinkedIn.
Robert Walters takes such incidents seriously. We advise you to be careful about revealing personal and confidential information to unverified parties both on messaging platforms and over the phone. We therefore ask you to exercise the utmost caution and always verify the identity of those you communicate with.
How to Avoid Falling Victim to Impersonation Fraud
To safeguard yourself, please be extra careful when you receive an unsolicited message or all other forms of communication asking you to provide confidential or personal information. Under no circumstances should you give personal information including full name and banking details to third parties via SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram or any other communication platforms unless you have verified the authenticity of such requests.
