IT Project Engineer - Office Technologies (Contract, FS)

A leading financial institution seeks an IT Project Engineer in Hong Kong to deliver office technology transformation projects, driving seamless Microsoft 365 workplace solutions and impactful business outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver office technology transformation projects across business units, ensuring successful implementation within agreed scope, timelines, and budgets
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle activities, including planning, coordination, execution, testing, deployment, and transition to operations
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective technology solutions
• Coordinate internal IT teams, external vendors, and service providers to ensure high-quality project delivery
• Implement and support office technologies, including Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, endpoint management, and workplace productivity solutions
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, providing timely updates and escalating concerns where necessary
• Support change management, user adoption, training, and communication activities associated with technology initiatives

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in end-user technologies, IT infrastructure, or technology project delivery
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Intune
• Solid project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or Microsoft certifications would be an advantage
• Fluent in Cantonese and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
