Microsoft Workplace Technology Specialist

A well-known multinational organisation seeks a Microsoft Workplace Technology Specialist in Hong Kong to drive workplace technology transformation and deliver secure, modern Microsoft solutions that enhance productivity and user experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the administration, optimisation, and support of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure), ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing workplace technology services
• Drive the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of modern workplace, endpoint management, and hybrid identity solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, mobility, and user experience across the organisation
• Serve as the Level 2/3 technical escalation expert, resolving complex Microsoft platform issues while maintaining service availability, operational efficiency, and business continuity
• Own Microsoft technology projects including cloud migrations, platform upgrades, deployments, and adoption initiatives, delivering scalable solutions that support business transformation and future workplace innovation
• Partner with business stakeholders to develop governance, security, and compliance strategies, maintain technical standards and documentation, and evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies such as Copilot, Power Platform, and AI solutions to drive continuous improvement

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least five years’ experience supporting and administering Microsoft workplace technologies in an enterprise environment
• Hands-on expertise across Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune for endpoint and workplace management
• Strong experience supporting Azure cloud, hybrid infrastructure, Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, and identity and access management within complex enterprise environments
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft security and compliance technologies including Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview, with experience supporting cloud migration and workplace transformation initiatives
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a good command of both Cantonese and English to effectively support users, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality technical solutions
