This role offers you the chance to work with advanced Cisco technologies, collaborating closely with both internal and external partners to ensure seamless network operations. Responsibilities:

  • Work with cutting-edge Cisco products and play a key role in installation, configuration, and ongoing support across diverse network environments.
  • Collaborate with knowledgeable colleagues and trusted vendors, ensuring smooth project delivery and continuous improvement of network infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Configure Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and other essential network components to maintain optimal performance and security across the organisation’s infrastructure.
  • Take primary responsibility for the installation and configuration of Cisco products, ensuring all systems are set up according to best practices and organisational requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with vendors as well as internal and external stakeholders to implement new solutions or upgrades, fostering open communication throughout each project phase.
  • Monitor network health proactively using appropriate tools, identifying potential issues before they impact users or business operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex network problems efficiently, providing timely resolutions that minimise downtime and disruption for end users.
  • Support urgent production needs by being available outside standard office hours when required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to reliable service.
  • Document all configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps clearly so that knowledge is shared effectively within the team.
  • Participate in regular reviews of network performance data, recommending improvements or enhancements based on observed trends or incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and policies during all aspects of network management.
