Senior Payment Product Manager (7-month contract)

A leading financial institution seeks a Senior Payment Product Manager – Transaction Banking & Digital Payments (7-month contract) in Hong Kong to drive payment innovation and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of digital payment products, from strategy and roadmap to launch and optimisation, ensuring regulatory compliance and business success
• Drive product innovation using customer insights, market trends, and transaction banking expertise to improve customer experience and business outcomes
• Partner with technology, compliance, risk, operations, marketing, and external stakeholders to deliver Agile initiatives and ensure successful execution
• Define product requirements, user stories, testing, release documentation, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality payment solutions
• Provide product leadership by managing project delivery, risks, stakeholder reporting, and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle

Candidate profile:

• At least 5 years' experience in product management within transaction banking, digital payments, or financial services, with a proven record of delivering payment products
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban), with hands-on experience using Jira, Confluence, and data-driven product management
• Solid understanding of transaction banking, digital payments, and regulatory requirements within complex financial services environments
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across technology, compliance, risk, operations, marketing, and external partners
• Fluent in English and Cantonese, with strong communication, presentation, documentation, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
