Senior Business Analyst- Data & AI Project ~60K

Our enterprise client’s Data and AI team is seeking a talented Senior Business Analyst to join their flagship project. This is your chance to work on cutting-edge data products and make a real impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Job Duties

• Lead business analysis activities across large-scale global data and AI transformation projects.
• Drive complex requirements elicitation, clarification, and stakeholder alignment across business and technology teams.
• Define and maintain high-quality BA standards, documentation, and project artifacts throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Facilitate workshops to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, business rules, exceptions, and edge cases.
• Create process maps, user stories, functional specifications, and traceability matrices to ensure solution alignment.
• Establish clear acceptance criteria and support UAT planning, readiness assessment, validation, and issue resolution.
• Work closely with business users, data teams, architects, developers, and project stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
• Bring structure, governance, and analytical rigor to in-flight AI and data initiatives operating in ambiguous and evolving environments.
• Review and improve requirements quality, ensuring completeness, consistency, and alignment with business objectives.
• Mentor junior BAs and drive best practices across the business analysis function.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst or BA Lead within complex technology, data, digital transformation, or AI programmes.
• Strong hands-on experience in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated expertise in process mapping, business rules definition, gap analysis, and solution documentation.
• Solid experience managing acceptance criteria, requirements traceability, UAT preparation, execution support, and validation activities.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and effectively collaborate with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Track record of leading BA workstreams and establishing standards for requirements quality and structured analysis.
• Experience working on enterprise-scale global projects with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in both English and Chinese (spoken and written).
• Available within a short notice period is highly preferred.
