UAT Tester/Business Analyst, Trading Platform (FS, 45k)

A leading financial institution in Hong Kong seeks a User Acceptance Testing Tester & Business Analyst, Trading Platform (FS, 45k) to enhance derivatives trading platforms and drive high-quality digital transformation.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for derivatives trading platform initiatives, developing test strategies, executing test cycles, and ensuring high-quality system releases within project timelines
• Analyse business, technical, and operational requirements, conduct impact assessments, and produce comprehensive testing documentation to support successful system changes and stakeholder alignment
• Monitor platform performance, investigate testing defects, and drive issue resolution to maintain system reliability, operational readiness, and seamless post-implementation support
• Partner with Business Subject Matter Experts, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to validate solutions, resolve operational issues, and ensure successful project delivery
• Identify opportunities for process and platform optimisation, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support additional projects aligned with evolving business priorities

Candidate profile:

• At least 3 years’ experience in system development, client support, or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for mission-critical enterprise platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with knowledge of trading platforms, market practices, or derivatives preferred
• Experience within financial services, telecommunications, or other highly regulated environments, with exposure to platform development or digital transformation initiatives
• Strong analytical skills with experience producing business and testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, test conditions, and stakeholder reports
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication (English and Chinese), problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while driving continuous improvement
