Senior Business Analyst - System Mapping & Risk ~80K

Our client, a leading enterprise organisation, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in a flagship transformation programme. This role goes beyond traditional BA responsibilities—requiring you to map end-to-end system and data flows, identify technology risks, and partner closely with IT security teams to ensure compliant and robust solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end business analysis and solution shaping across a large-scale enterprise programme.
• Elicit, challenge, and refine business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Develop end-to-end system architecture views and data flow mappings across multiple internal applications and integration points.
• Analyse and redesign business processes, data movement, and system interactions to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and vendors to ensure solution design aligns with enterprise standards and technical feasibility.
• Proactively identify technology and data risks, including integration, access control, and data handling vulnerabilities.
• Partner with IT Security and Risk teams to perform risk assessments aligned with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Policy and Technology Risk Management Framework (TRMF).
• Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and data governance requirements across regions.
• Act as a senior liaison between business, technology, and risk stakeholders, driving alignment and decision-making.
• Facilitate workshops, produce high-quality documentation (e.g. process maps, system diagrams, data lineage, risk assessments), and support executive-level reporting.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with significant exposure to enterprise-scale transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to map complex system architectures and data flows across multiple applications.
• Strong understanding of system integration patterns, data lifecycle, and enterprise application landscapes.
• Experience identifying and managing technology and security risks, working with IT Security / Risk / Compliance teams.
• Familiarity with ERM, TRMF, or similar risk frameworks in regulated or large enterprise environments.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex business problems into scalable, secure solutions.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese (written and spoken).
