Cloud Engineer - AWS (Financial Services)

This position requires a strong foundation in AWS Cloud Platform and Terraform/ Ansible for infrastructure as code,with a focus cloud optimisation and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to automate the build, test, and release process.
• Set up and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop automation script to streamline the operation
• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to manage and provision cloud resources.
• Ensure the reliability and efficiency of the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Assist in the design and implementation of DevOps practices and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the software development process.
• Work closely with the IT team to ensure the security and compliance of the infrastructure.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fiel
• 2+ year of experience in Cloud engineer/ DevOps, with a focus on cloud platforms management or setting CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Azure/ AWS Cloud Platform
• Experience with Terraform/ Ansible for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Good command of Cantonese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
