Devops Manager- FSI, PERM role

* Play a key role in developing and implementing architecture blueprints that drive technological advancement across the organisation, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and governance standards. * Collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments to evaluate, implement, and optimise DevOps channels and automation tools, supporting both current needs and future business objectives.

• Develop comprehensive architecture blueprints that reflect current capabilities while establishing clear standards and governance processes for technology adoption.
• Provide expert guidance on integrating new technologies such as cloud computing, distributed ledger technology, application architecture, and system integration from both technical and risk perspectives.
• Design, propose, and implement effective DevOps channels tailored to organisational requirements, ensuring smooth process flows and operational efficiency.
• Engage with stakeholders across multiple teams to evaluate existing DevOps practices, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate the adoption of industry-leading methodologies.
• Establish a continuous build environment by introducing Infrastructure-as-Code principles to accelerate infrastructure deployment as well as software development lifecycles.
• Lead initiatives in process automation by evaluating relevant tools, designing solution architectures, and overseeing the implementation of selected technologies.
• Analyse operational challenges or setbacks in collaboration with development and operations teams, providing solutions through advanced process automation using tools such as Vault Management, GitHub, Sonatype, HSM, among others.
• Support the ongoing optimisation of CICD pipelines by incorporating feedback from cross-functional teams and aligning with evolving business needs.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports on architectural decisions, process improvements, tool evaluations, and project outcomes for internal stakeholders.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervisors to contribute to broader organisational goals.
• A degree in information technology, computer science or related disciplines demonstrating a solid academic foundation for technical decision-making.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in IT roles with a minimum of 3 years spent at an architect level within major financial institutions or similar environments.
• Proven expertise in designing end-to-end DevOps processes including hands-on experience with CICD pipeline implementation and optimisation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, GIT, Sonatype, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet or ArgoCD enabling efficient process management.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix environments complemented by scripting abilities using Python, NodeJS, Ruby, Golang or shell scripts for custom solution development.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies like cloud computing platforms or distributed ledger technology; exposure to FinTech initiatives is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively when designing solutions or processes while resolving conflicts constructively within teams.
• Excellent analytical skills supported by strong presentation abilities along with proficiency in documentation and report writing for technical audiences.
• Outstanding command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Putonghua would be considered an advantage for wider communication.
