A well-known financial services organisation in Hong Kong seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer, Financial Services (Contract) to strengthen enterprise cyber defences and drive secure digital transformation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise cybersecurity solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments to strengthen organisational security and resilience
  • Lead identity, access, and data protection initiatives by managing IAM, SSO, MFA, PAM, DLP, encryption, and least-privilege controls to safeguard critical systems and sensitive information
  • Drive vulnerability management by overseeing security assessments, remediation prioritisation, risk reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce cyber risks
  • Support security operations by investigating incidents, performing root cause analysis, and developing security standards, architectures, and technical documentation to enhance cyber governance
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness by contributing to risk assessments, governance activities, and security control improvements within a highly regulated financial services environment

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years’ enterprise cybersecurity or information security experience
  • Strong expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, PAM, Conditional Access, and user lifecycle management, with hands-on experience in Microsoft security solutions
  • Proven experience securing enterprise, network, endpoint, cloud, and application environments, with knowledge of modern cybersecurity and threat mitigation practices
  • Exposure to financial services environments, including audit support, regulatory compliance, risk management, and security governance initiatives
  • Excellent problem-solving, technical documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with strong written and spoken Cantonese and English proficiency
