IT Security Specialist (IAM)

Our client is seeking a skilled IT Security Specialist with expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM). You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, designing, implementing, and managing workforce IAM solutions across provisioning, authentication, authorization, and entitlement management. You will analyze security controls to mitigate identity-based threats and ensure secure delivery of identity security solutions throughout the system development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to architect, design, deliver and manage workforce IAM capabilities across provisioning, authentication, authorization and entitlement management.
• Analyse and design security control to mitigate identity-based attacks and securely deliver identity security solutions with capabilities such as SAST/DAST in the deployment lifecycle.
• Design and drive the integration between applications with Identity security solutions.
• Support in the system development lifecycle (SDLC), such as architecture and infrastructure design, technical requirement and operation documentation, technical and user testing, user training, maintenance and support.
• Work closely with technical vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are addressed and security solutions are implemented effectively.
• Coordinate and collaborate closely with IT and business users to ensure successful enablement of identity security related solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or above degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; with cybersecurity certifications such as Certified Information Security Auditor/Manager (CISA/CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Professional (CISP) are highly preferred, identity security solution (IGA/IAM/IdP) related certification is a plus.
• At least 3+ years of experience in driving and managing security solutions, including implementation and operations, or related technology projects; with proven experience in implementing identity security solutions (IGA/IAM/IdP).
• Strong understanding on open IAM standards and concept such as Single-Sign on (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), identity lifecycle management, RBAC/PBAC/ABAC, LDAP, and entitlement management.
• Demonstrated ability to gather business and technical requirement to architect, design, and facilitate end-to-end application integrations for identity security solutions (IGA/IAM/IdP) is a plus.
• A good understanding on Access Control across Directory Server, Databases, and enterprise applications, with concept on Zero Trust and Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) would be a definite advantage.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, including operating systems, databases, network, infrastructure, container technology, and cloud computing.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation skills, organizational and time management skills, with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationship with stakeholders.
