Data Engineer (Migration project 6 months) - Bank

We are seeking 2 experienced Data Specialists supporting the migration project. These specialists will work across different business units to provide technical support and ensure a smooth transition of infrastructure and data workflows

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:

  • Jenkins pipeline failures
  • Express batch processing jobs
  • Infrastructure and system-level errors

• Assist with data migration tasks, including:

  • Identifying and resolving data type mismatches
  • Preparing and executing Flux jobs for historical data migration
  • Supporting data profiling and validation efforts

• Provide environment support, including:

  • Facilitating access to production environments
  • Advising on best practices for data handling and job orchestration

• Collaborate cross-functionally

  • Understand specific requirements
  • Deliver tailored technical support
  • Ensure alignment with migration goals and timelines

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure support
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines
  • Batch job frameworks (e.g., Express)
  • Flux, or equivalent job orchestration tools
• Familiarity with data profiling, ETL processes, and cloud environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and dynamic environments
