Business Analyst (6-Month Renewable Contract)

A leading telecommunications company is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join its team in Hong Kong.

As the ideal candidate, you are expected to have strong experience in business analysis, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to work on Salesforce-focused projects. As the role requires, you are confident in gathering requirements, facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT), and negotiating with stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

Key responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements
• Document functional and non-functional requirements for Salesforce-related projects

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Develop UAT plans and test cases based on business requirements
• Coordinate and execute UAT sessions with end users, ensuring issues are identified and addressed before deployment

Stakeholder Management & Negotiation

• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables
• Negotiate priorities, timelines, and solutions to meet both business objectives and technical feasibility

Salesforce Project Support

• Work closely with Salesforce developers and administrators to ensure the platform meets business needs
• Provide insights into Salesforce capabilities to optimise workflows and processes

Communication & Reporting

• Prepare clear documentation, including requirements specifications, process flows, and status reports
• Communicate project updates effectively to stakeholders at various levels of the organisation

Candidate profile:

• Experience: 2–4 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Salesforce platform capabilities is highly preferred
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to business stakeholders
• Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to analysis
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively
• Negotiation Skills: Ability to facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and build consensus among stakeholders
