AI Business Analyst (1 yr contract, 30K)

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements through stakeholder workshops, interviews, and project discussions.
• Translate business needs and operational processes into user stories, functional specifications, process flows, acceptance criteria, and prioritised backlogs.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to define, refine, and deliver technology and AI-enabled solutions.
• Support the planning and execution of projects, including timeline tracking, risk management, issue resolution, dependency management, and progress reporting.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including requirements documents, meeting minutes, decision logs, test plans, training materials, and user guides.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation, defect tracking, validation of fixes, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Leverage AI tools to support research, analysis, documentation, meeting summarisation, and project reporting while ensuring the accuracy and quality of outputs.
• Communicate project status, key decisions, risks, and action items effectively to internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Support solution rollout, user adoption activities, feedback collection, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, software delivery, technology consulting, digital transformation, or a related field.
• Practical experience gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements for digital, technology, automation, data, or enterprise system projects.
• Strong ability to produce user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, and presentation materials.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, UAT coordination, defect tracking, and software delivery processes.
• Strong interest in AI technologies and their business applications, including automation, AI-assisted workflows, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience using AI productivity tools to support research, documentation, analysis, and project delivery activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, databases, and technology solution workflows.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Cantonese and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
