Data Engineer (Databricks, Renewable Contract)

A leading real estate organisation is seeking a Data Engineer in Hong Kong to design and optimise scalable data pipelines that power business insights and data-driven decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern Azure data technologies, delivering reliable, high-quality data solutions within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Factory
• Build and optimise reliable data workflows to support analytics and business reporting
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to deliver scalable data solutions
• Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity across enterprise data platforms
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise data pipelines to improve performance, reliability, and scalability

Candidate profile:

• At least 3 years' experience in data engineering, ETL development, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL, and Python
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms, with Azure experience preferred
• Experience designing scalable, high-performance data pipelines and ETL solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills
