Data Analyst (Python & Insurance project, 50K)

The successful candidates will work closely with the team to review, adapt, and test data processing recipes, ensuring accurate data extraction and validation within our reinsurance workflows.

• Analyze submission documents and outputs generated by Cold Agent systems.
• Modify and extend existing Python scripts to accommodate additional treaty cases.
• Develop, test, validate, and document Python recipes for data processing tasks.
• Cross-verify extracted data against source documents to ensure accuracy.
• Identify and log issues such as missing data, source file problems, and logical inconsistencies.
• Assist in human-in-the-loop validation processes and create repeatable automation scripts.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python scripting at a basic to intermediate level.
• Ability to read, understand, and modify existing Python code.
• Experience working with various file formats including PDF, Excel, Word, email attachments, ZIP files, and directory structures.
• Fluency in Mandarin is mandatory; proficiency in English is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn reinsurance concepts, treaty workflows, and related processes.
• Prior experience in reinsurance is desirable but not required.
